Step 1: Heat oil in a pan
Step 2: Have more oil nearby as these need alot .
Step 3: Wrap shredded turnips in a clean cloth and wring the heck out of them
Step 4: The less moisture, the nicer the final product.
Step 5: Place in a mixing bowl.
Step 6: Beat two eggs thoroughly
Step 7: Add to turnips
Step 8: Add celery seed ,pepper and poppy seed and mix in well.
Step 9: Using two soup spoons, form patties and set gently in the hot oil.
Step 10: Cook for two to three minutes on a side until crisp and brown
Step 11: Keep warm on paper-towel covered plate in a low oven (200 degrees)until ready to plate.
