"This burger was dedicated to me many years ago on the original Zaar site. It is a wonderful, tasty burger and I am so proud to have it carry my name.
Additional condiments like whole grain mustard, pickled jalapeño peppers, mushrooms or anything else you love on a burger are optional additions to the listed ingredients.
The photos have the burger on a Brioche bun not on an onion bun - it's called supply & demand. Made again this time on an Onion.Cheese bun."
Lightly mix the ground beef. with the Montreal steak spice & Worchestershire.
Form into 3 patties, set aside.
Add onion & peppers to a lightly oiled large fry pan. Stir fry for 4 minutes.
Add steak sauce, heat, remove from pan, set aside in a small bowl.
Fry your burger patties for apptx. 5 minutes each side or done to your liking.
Heat your broiler.
Spread mustard (if you are using) on your toasted (fried) buns on one side.
Place burger pattie on the bottom half of the bun.
Top with the pepper/onion/steak sauce mixture. Place cheese on top.
Place under broiler until cheese melts (only takes a couple of minutes).
Remove from oven top with your other favorite condiments.
Place the top half bun on top.
