"After scrounging around the internet trying to find a teriyaki sauce recipe that was close to a sauce I tasted years ago, a Hawaiian teriyaki, I finally took bits and ideas from several recipes and came up with this. It's very close to what I remember, and works beautifully for marinating London broil or chicken before broiling."

My daughter was in the mood to cook so she made up some of this sauce to use on our baked chicken. It was really delicious and we were totally happy with the outcome. She marinated the chicken pieces for about 5-6 hours so the flavor would get into the flesh and we had very good results. I am going to use this to make a stir-fry with maybe some shrimp. Yum!
