Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix the dressing.

Step 2

Layer tomatoes and bell pepper in bottom.

Step 3

Next mix 1/2 dressing with chickpeas, put on top of parsley, next put green onion. Top with more tomato mixture that you have mixed rest of dressing. Chill.

Step 4

Serve with lemon slice.

Wow. Wow. Wow. Amazing flavors, and every single ingredient in this salad is one of my favorites. The combination is absolutely delicious. It went so well with a Syrian chicken dish we had tonight. And I can't stop picking at the leftovers. Dessert is waiting, but I might just have the rest of this salad instead! Made exactly as written except more garlic and ginger . (personal taste). Wowzers. Best of 2021, for sure! The directions weren't totally clear, so I just layered everything: tomato/bell pepper mix, followed by chick peas, followed by parsley, then green onions, then the rest of the tomatos. Simply perfect.
