"I love this recipe and I make it quite often, I just buy the pre cut beef strips for this, or you can even make this with leftover roast or steak just reduce cooking time because the meat is already cooked. You can adjust the chili garlic sauce to your own taste by adding in more or less."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

To make the sauce; in a bowl combine hoisin sauce with next 4 ingredients. Set aside.

Step 2

Season beef strips with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a wok. Add beef and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until meat is browned and caramelized.

Step 4

Remove beef from wok; add remaining 1 tablespoon oil, garlic, ginger, peppers. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes stir constantly. Add sauce to wok allow to thicken with vegetables. Remove from heat and add beef strips.

Step 5

Serve over rice or noodles, garnish with green onion and toasted sesame seeds.
