"A tasty little appetizer I serve when the boys come over for game night. Can be made with cooked meatballs also or a combination of both. You can increase the level of heat by increasing the amount of chili sauce."

This was very good! I doubled the recipe for my office potluck and, like Bergy, couldn't find cocktail wieners so I cut European wieners into thirds. Nothing was left at the end of lunch. I love the combination of sweet and spicy! Thanks for a great recipe.

Loved this Bea! I had cocktail weinies before but only in the grape jelly recipe. Loved this and am serving this again on Monday for our Memorial day cookout. Thanks! I am going to grill weiners, cut them up and then add them to the mixture! I know its going to be wonderful!

5 star all the way - this recipe is tasty, attractive and versatile. Fabulous served as an appetizer for those Saturday football games, serve over rice with a salad for lunch or dinner. Even as a side dish for brunch. I would also love it in a hot dog bun. I could not find the mini wieners so I just cut up regular weiners. Using regular weiners makes it quite quite econamical. I cut the recipe back to only 2 weiners and cooked them in the crock pot for 2 hours, then kept them on warm for another hour - Perfect. QueenBea this is a gem of a recipe.
