Step by Step Method

Put everything but garnish into a stockpot

Step 2

Simmer for 30 minutes stirring occasionally making sure it doesnt boil dry

Remove bay leaf

Step 4

When plating in bowl put chives on . then olive oil on top

I made this as a side dish to go along with some Spanish burgers and it was really good. I used a slotted spoon to serve, so a lot of the liquid was left behind. I should have snapped a photo of the bean stew in the serving dish but I was hungry. I added some salt and pepper, and it was a nice, plain (in a good way), and inexpensive addition to the table. Everyone enjoyed them.
