This was a fun variation on your average baked beans. I liked the Hawaiian twist. Thank you! Made for Susie's World Tour - Hawaii.

We had old friends for dinner and this is one of the recipes we made. This was loved by all. Pineapple in baked beans was a new one for us. Thank you for a great addition to our Hawaii feast.

Daily Inspiration

These baked beans were such a nice accompaniment to our grilled pork tenderloin. Loved the addition of the pineapple and bbq sauce - a really nice change to regular baked beans. I added some bacon pieces to the beans; otherwise made as directed. Made for SWT 2018 - Hawaii

I enjoyed these beans. They were a little different than what I usually make so this was a fun variation to try. Just as a personal taste, I would probably not add the soy next time. Thanks for sharing this nice recipe, Sue.

This was a good way to elevate canned beans. I served them at a family dinner. Some raved about them and a few others thought they were a little too sweet. I thought they had good flavor and were so easy to prepare.
