Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine ground chuck, sausage, eggs, oats, steak sauce, green peppercorns, onion powder, parsley, seasoned salt, pepper and 1/2 cup ketchup.
Step 3
Mix gently but well.
Step 4
Shape mixture into a loaf about 4 1/2 inches wide, 2 1/2 inches thick and 11 inches long.
Step 5
Put in a shallow baking dish
Step 6
Top loaf with remaining 1/2 cup ketchup.
Step 7
Arrange bacon slices on top.
Step 8
Bake 35 minutes until cooked through. (Check and cook until done)
Step 9
Allow to rest 10 minutes before slicing.
Step 10
Serve with brown gravy.
