Step by Step Method
Step 1
Place all ingredients except macaroni in a large stock pot.
Step 2
Cook on high for 20 minutes.
Step 3
Add the macaroni and let soup cook for 15 minutes.

Remove bay leaf.
Step 5
Season with more salt and pepper to taste.
Step 6
Continue cooking until the cabbage is tender.
Step 7
Serve soup with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and crushed pepper.
