Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Step 2
Peel and chop turnips into same size pieces.
Step 3
Place it onto a lined baking sheet along with onion and whole garlic cloves.
Step 4
Drizzle everything with oil and season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Roast for 40 minutes, flipping the turnip and onion halfway of cooking.
Step 6
When turnip is done and nicely caramelized, remove it from the oven.
Step 7
Peel the garlic and add it into a blender together with the rest of ingredients.
Step 8
Be careful blending hot items they like to expand.
Step 9
Blend until super smooth.
Step 10
Pour the soup into a pot and slowly bring to a boil.
Step 11
Check seasoning for taste.
