Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Step 2: Peel and chop turnips into same size pieces.
Step 3: Place it onto a lined baking sheet along with onion and whole garlic cloves.
Step 4: Drizzle everything with oil and season with salt and pepper.
Step 5: Roast for 40 minutes, flipping the turnip and onion halfway of cooking.
Step 6: When turnip is done and nicely caramelized, remove it from the oven.
Step 7: Peel the garlic and add it into a blender together with the rest of ingredients.
Step 8: Be careful blending hot items they like to expand.
Step 9: Blend until super smooth.
Step 10: Pour the soup into a pot and slowly bring to a boil.
Step 11: Check seasoning for taste.
