Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Step 2
In a bowl, whisk dry ingredients.
Step 3
Cut in butter until mix resembles small peas.
Step 4
Add egg and milk together and beat.
Step 5
Add to dry ingredients, stirring quickly and briefly.
Step 6
Knead lightly on floured board.
Step 7
Roll or pat gently to 1 inch thickness.
Step 8
Cut into 1-2 inch biscuits.
Step 9
Place on greased cookie sheet, or a greased 9 inch pan.
Step 10
Bake at 450 degrees for 12-15 minutes .
