Step by Step Method

Step 1

Fry 8 strips of bacon

Step 2

Remove all about a tablespoon of grease

Step 3

Saute onions until translucent

Step 4

Add water ( they only used 1 cup)and potatoes

Step 5

Cook until tender about 15 minutes add soup,rinse out can with milk, sour cream and seasonings

Step 6

Simmer dont boil

Step 7

Cook until hot

Step 8

Add crumbled bacon

Daily Inspiration

What an easy and really tasty potato soup. Loved the addition of the cream of chicken soup and the sour cream really added to the texture of the soup. Made this for lunch today and it was a hit with hubby. : )
