Step 1
Preheat oven to 350.
Step 2
Use a very large mixing bowl and cream together shortening, butter and both sugars.
Step 3
Beat in eggs.
Step 4
Beat in peanut butter.
Step 5
Gradually add in flour and baking soda. You may only need the 2 cups of flour and not a full 2 1/2 cups.
Step 6
You may need to use hands as dough gets very stiff.
Step 7
Drop them by tablespoons on to ungreased cookie sheets.
Step 8
Mash with a fork horizontally and vertically
Step 9
Bake at 350 degrees for about 10-13 minutes or until lightly browned at edges.
