What a treat! No wonder it's on church supper offerings - as they say, it's an oldie but goodie. We had it sandwiched in-between grain bread and enjoyed every bite. I bet a bit of cinnamon would be great here too. Can't wait to try it over ice cream and with some apple slices. I made half the recipe and it was enough for about 3 sandwiches.
