"I found this recipe in a local cookbook. It is called Recipes You'll Love For Life. The author of the original recipe is Bunni Olson. I have changed it somewhat and my family loved my changes. I added bell pepper, celery and more cheese, and swapped out cream of celery for another cream of mushroom. It is delicious, even if you don't care for sauerkraut!"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Start the oven preheating to 350 degrees.
Step 2
Brown ground beef with onion, peppers and celery. Drain grease.
Step 3
In a large bowl combine all ingredients, but only 1/2 cup of cheese. Mix well and place into a prepared casserole dish with a lid. (I use a 9x13 and cover with tinfoil.)
Step 4
Cover the casserole and bake for 30 minutes.
Step 5
Uncover casserole, and stir.
Step 6
Sprinkle the last 1/2 cup of cheese on top and bake 15 more minutes to melt cheese.
