Step by Step Method
Step 1
Using the sauté function on your Instant Pot, melt the butter and sauté the onion until translucent.
Step 2
Add the rice and orzo and toast the rice until the orzo it is lightly brown. Don't burn.
Step 3
Add garlic and cook until fragrant (30 seconds to a minute)
Step 4
Add the chicken broth and bouillon.
Step 5
Set lid to sealing and pressure cook for 5 minutes.
Step 6
Allow the Instant Pot to sit for at least 10 minutes on natural release before releasing the remaining pressure.
