Step by Step Method

Step 1

All fruit mixture to thaw and drain the juices.

Step 2

In large mixing bowl, stir together sugar and cornstarch. Add the fruit, gently toss until berries are coated. Set aside.

Step 3

Roll out pastry to approximately 12 inches. Line a 9 inch pie plate with the pastry, allowing the edges to hang over 3-4 inches.

Step 4

Place filling in pastry. Fold pastry overhang over the filling, pleating to fit. Sprinkle with remaining sugar.

Step 5

Place pie plate on baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour or until top is golden. Cool on wire rack.
