Step by Step Method

Step 1

Slice the potatoes as thin as you can.

Step 2

Heat bacon grease or sunflower oil if you are going vegan. Add in potatoes. Season then cook covered until half done

Step 3

Add onions and white part of green onion, turn and stir around

Step 4

Cover cook on low until browned (dont burn them, keep flipping every few minutes)

Step 5

When browned, add herbs and cook 1 minute more so they wilt slightly

Quick and easy. We had with brats. I thought I had dried parsley, but I didn't. I just used dill weed.
