Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix the wine, mustard, oil, rosemary and garlic together in a large re-sealable freezer bag.

Step 2

Add the ham steak and swish to make sure it is well coated on both sides.

Step 3

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours but no more then 4 hours.

Step 4

Remove from marinade and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 5

Grill or pan fry until cooked through.

We liked the recipe but felt it needed a bit more oomph. The marinade didn't stick to the ham so even after 2 hours marinating it added minimal flavour when frying. The problem,I think, was that I used cured ham. I love all your recipes QueenBea so I take the blame for this one. We did enjoy our dinner. Served it along side poached pears and moroccan carrots.
