Step by Step Method
Step 1
In a small pot combine 1 1/2 cups water with 1 cup sugar.
Step 2
Cook over medium heat and stir to dissolve the sugar.
Step 3
Turn off the heat and add 2 sprigs of rosemary. Allow to sit until the water has cooled. Discard the rosemary sprigs.
Step 4
In a pitcher combine the lemon juice, sugar-rosemary infusion and the remaining 4 1/2 cups (cold) water. Add remaining rosemary sprigs. Stir together.
Step 5
Serve over ice, garnished with lemon slices.
