"Perfect fall dish. From Bon Appétit 2013"
Preheat oven to 400°. Toss cabbage, onion, apple, thyme sprigs, vinegar, 1 Tbsp. oil, and 1/4 cup water in a 13x9" baking dish; season with salt and pepper and roast, covered, until cabbage is wilted and softened, 35–45 minutes.
Meanwhile, heat remaining 1 Tbsp. oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Cook sausages until browned and cooked through, 10–12 minutes. Add to cabbage during last 10 minutes of cooking, tossing to coat. Serve with bread.

I took 2 liberties with this geat recipe - I used green Cabbage & I cut up the sausage into bite size pieces before cooking them. The oven time is right on. I put the recipe together in the AM covered it and put it in the fridge Then 45 minutes before dinner put it in a 400F oven. 25 minutes before serving I fried the sausage, added them to the cabbage 10 minutes before serving.And Voila easy peasy & delicious
