Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix all the ingredients, except whipped cottage cheese, chives and cilantro together in a pot.

If you wish partially mash the beans or leave them whole

Bring to a boil, simmer about 5 minutes

Serve in bowls, top with whipped cottage cheese, chives and cilantro
