Step by Step Method
Step 1
In a Dutch oven
Step 2
Combine ground beef, salt and pepper ,(season to taste)and cook over medium high heat until beef is brown and thoroughly cooked.

Drain off fat.
Step 4
Add carrots, potatoes, onions, and broth.
Step 5
Bring to a boil.
Step 6
Reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes or until vegetables are completely tender.
Step 7
Stir in tomatoes, zucchini, mushrooms, thyme and Worcestershire sauce.
Step 8
Cook 10 minutes or until zucchini is tender.
Step 9
In a small jar with lid tightly screwed, combine cold water and flour and shake well to blend.
Step 10
Gradually add to stew, stirring constantly.
Step 11
Cook and stir until bubbly and thickened
Step 12
Season to taste
