"The staff were getting pancakes as big as a plate and Cal was getting delicate little pancakes, he wanted the big boys. lol I'm using bacon grease (you can use oil) because our boy was extremely frugal, lol and he was getting bacon anyway. lol Stuff soaked overnight for breakfast because the grains were tougher. This is going to need a couple of hours to soak in frig."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Soak the flour mixture at least 2 hours in the fridge covered.
Step 2
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Step 3
Mix water with baking soda and baking powder.
Step 4
Add to cake ingredients and stir with whisk into the soak.
Step 5
If too thick add a little milk.
Step 6
Fold in stiff egg whites.
Step 7
Heat griddle with some butter.
Step 8
And spread batter out the size of a plate.
Step 9
When light brown flip.
Step 10
Add more butter to skillet and repeat.
Step 11
Serve with butter and real maple syrup.
