Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2
Place roast in a baking dish or small roasting pan. Pour apple juice over the pork then season with garlic salt and pepper. Bake UNCOVERED for 30 minutes.
Step 3
While the pork is roasting, mix together the apple butter, brown sugar, 3 tablespoons apple juice or water and cinnamon.
Step 4
Remove the roast then spread with apple butter mixture. Lightly tent with foil then return to oven and cook for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until cooked through.
