Step by Step Method

Step 1

Bring oil and butter to high heat.

Add spices, garlic and onion.

Brown lightly.

Add water, and rest of ingredients, cover the pot and simmer on low heat until all water is absorbed about 20 minutes.

Step 9

Take off heat and leave covered for 5 minutes.
