Step 1

In the top of a double boiler (or a large bowl set over a simmering pot of water)

Step 2

Combine cream cheese and butter.

Step 3

Heat to melt, stirring occasionally.

Step 4

Add garlic and whisk mixture until blended.

Step 5

Whisk in evaporated milk, pepper, and salt until blended.

Step 6

Stir in 1/2 cup Parmigiano cheese and set aside.

Step 7

Cook fettuccine in salted water according to package directions.

Step 8

During the last two minutes of cooking, add peas to boiling pasta water in pot. Drain fettuccine and peas

Step 9

Toss with reserved sauce.

Step 10

Add half the salmon and pecans, mixing gently.

Step 11

Serve immediately, topping each portion with a sprinkling of remaining salmon and pecans.

Step 12

Sprinkle with parsley
