Step 1: In the top of a double boiler (or a large bowl set over a simmering pot of water)
Step 2: Combine cream cheese and butter.
Step 3: Heat to melt, stirring occasionally.
Step 4: Add garlic and whisk mixture until blended.
Step 5: Whisk in evaporated milk, pepper, and salt until blended.
Step 6: Stir in 1/2 cup Parmigiano cheese and set aside.
Step 7: Cook fettuccine in salted water according to package directions.
Step 8: During the last two minutes of cooking, add peas to boiling pasta water in pot. Drain fettuccine and peas
Step 9: Toss with reserved sauce.
Step 10: Add half the salmon and pecans, mixing gently.
Step 11: Serve immediately, topping each portion with a sprinkling of remaining salmon and pecans.
Step 12: Sprinkle with parsley
