Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic,smashed
  • 1 can(12 ounces) evaporated milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces parmigian cheese ,divided
  • 1 pound dry fettuccine
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 3 ounces smoked salmon, chopped
  • 1/2 cups pecan halves, coarsely chopped
  • 1/4 cup parsley,minced

How to Make

  • Step 1: In the top of a double boiler (or a large bowl set over a simmering pot of water)

  • Step 2: Combine cream cheese and butter.

  • Step 3: Heat to melt, stirring occasionally.

  • Step 4: Add garlic and whisk mixture until blended.

  • Step 5: Whisk in evaporated milk, pepper, and salt until blended.

  • Step 6: Stir in 1/2 cup Parmigiano cheese and set aside.

  • Step 7: Cook fettuccine in salted water according to package directions.

  • Step 8: During the last two minutes of cooking, add peas to boiling pasta water in pot. Drain fettuccine and peas

  • Step 9: Toss with reserved sauce.

  • Step 10: Add half the salmon and pecans, mixing gently.

  • Step 11: Serve immediately, topping each portion with a sprinkling of remaining salmon and pecans.

  • Step 12: Sprinkle with parsley
