Step by Step Method

Step 1

Combine oats and water.

Step 2

Microwave on high for 1 minute and stir. Return to microwave and heat on high stirring every 30 seconds until desired consistency is reached. Adding the peanut butter will thicken the oatmeal a little. I do mine for about 2 minutes and 30 seconds in my 1200 watt microwave.

Step 3

Add natural peanut butter and stir until incorporated.

I made a double recipe for myself and added a tablespoon of brown sugar. Also, couldn't help topping with a little spoon of raspberry jam in the center (pb&j). Super good!

It doesn't get any simpler than this and I love it. Such a satisfying quick breaky. Mine only took a minute and a half to cook. I must admit, I did add a bit of sugar to it. Made for the Recipebook Tag Game.
