"I use very ripe peaches for this, ones that seem just past their prime for eating out of hand. You can make the mixer up in advance, then just mix it with slightly softened ice cream in the blender."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Puree pitted and de-stemmed ripe peaches, half and half, sweetener and vanilla in a blender until smooth. Don’t worry bout peeling the peaches. Everything will be just fine.

Step 2

Mix 2 cups of slightly softened ice cream with 1 cup peach mix.

This was a good and tasty shake. We halved the recipe for the two of us. It was not overly sweet, even with the sugar added (I used sugar). Mine had a tinge of orange coloring, but not nearly as orange as the main picture. Nice for a hot evening. PS. I have to try this again. I realize I mixed it wrong. Oh my goodness! That means it will taste even peachier! Woohoo for me! (^∇^)ノ♪
