Out-Of-This-World Fantastic Fluffy Pancakes!

"I know just what your saying "oh-hum just another pancake recipe" yes it may be BUT - this one is one you have to make and when you do you will NEVER make another pancake recipe ever again, do yourself a big favor and make this recipe, every bite is heaven, it`s like biting into bread, they are that fluffy and the flavor is out-of-this-world FANTASTIC, you won't even want to eat them with syrup! I should also mention that cake flour can be used instead of all-purpose this will make them even more fluffy! This is not a recipe that will give you a whole lot of pancakes, you should get about 8 large pancakes or a few more smaller ones"

Step 1

Add some oil to coat bottom of a skillet, then heat over medium heat.

Step 2

In a bowl, combine all dry ingredients (first five).

Step 3

In a small bowl whisk egg, then whisk in melted butter, vanilla and milk (make sure these are well combined; add to flour mixture and mix until just combined (mixture should have a few lumps, do not overmix).

Step 4

Pour 1 teaspoon or more of oil in a 1/4-cup measuring utensil then spread it over sides and bottom. Scoop out a scant 1/4-cup of the pancake mixture and pour in the skillet.

Step 5

Cook one side, then flip pancake when the batter starts to bubble, but before the underside to too brown.

Step 6

Serve pancakes topped with some butter (really that`s all you will need because these babies taste so good on their own!).

Your right these are the best pancakes I thought I already found the best, nope no way these are the cream-of-the-crop, so tender and great tasting, these taste similar to fry-dough and no butter or syrup even needed, although I lightly dusted with confectionary sugar, we loved these, this is no my new favorite pancake recipe, thank you very much Carollaydon!
