Step by Step Method

Step 1

Set dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add olive oil, onion, mushrooms, salt and pepper. Cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add white wine, worcestershire, water, sour cream and tomato paste; bring to a simmer.

Step 2

Add pasta, submerging in liquid. Cook 7 minutes, uncovered, stirring often to prevent sticking. Add peas and cook 3 minutes longer. Stir in parmesan cheese. Serve immediately, refrigerating any leftovers.

We loved this recipe, so quick and easy to make and everything I needed was on hand in the fridge and pantry. I followed the recipe as written, although with my DH's serve I added some cooked diced bacon and mixed in just before serving, which he loved. We really did enjoy this, we enjoyed 2 generous serves with plenty left for 2 smaller serves the next day. I will definitely be making this again!
