Step by Step Method
Step 1
Blend butter and sugar until light, add cornstarch and flour that has been sifted.
Step 2
Chill.
Step 3
Shape dough into 1 inch balls.
Step 4
Dip bottom of glass in powdered sugar.
Step 5
Scatter nuts on wax paper and flatten each ball on top of nuts.
Step 6
Place on ungreased cookie sheet, nut side up and bake in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes.
Step 7
When cool, frost with mixed frosting.
