  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • Dry
  • 3/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 cup flour
  • Topping
  • 1/2 cup pecans, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • Frosting
  • 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice ( juice of one-half lemon)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Blend butter and sugar until light, add cornstarch and flour that has been sifted.

  • Step 2: Chill.

  • Step 3: Shape dough into 1 inch balls.

  • Step 4: Dip bottom of glass in powdered sugar.

  • Step 5: Scatter nuts on wax paper and flatten each ball on top of nuts.

  • Step 6: Place on ungreased cookie sheet, nut side up and bake in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes.

  • Step 7: When cool, frost with mixed frosting.
