"Until this recipe was found in a Family Circle Magazine over 30 years ago,I never could make fudge.When my children were little,I made this all the time. The time for melting the chips is included in the "prep time". And the cook time is the chill time. Please plan ahead it takes at least 4 hours to set properly. Now I'm listing the servings as 24 pieces.But I would advise you to cut it smaller,it's really rich. Submitted to " ZAZZ " on 12/31/13. " Keep Smiling :)"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

In medium size saucepan, over medium heat, combine peanut butter chips, half of the condensed milk,2 teaspoons vanilla,and 2 teaspoons margarine.

Step 2

Stir until completely melted, pour and spread evenly into a 9 x 9 inch pan which has been prepared with the cooking spray (the mixture will be a little thick).

Step 3

Repeat STEP 1 using remaining ingredients,(I used the same pan that I melted the peanut butter chips in)and pour over peanut butter mixture.

Step 4

Chill for 2 hours and cut into desired sized squares.

Step 5

Chill for another 2 hours.
