Stir butter until thoroughly creamy

Add sugar gradually and stir to mix well. Add well beaten yolks and cream and beat in

Then sift in the flour, baking powder and salt

Step 4

Beat, then add stiffly beaten whites of eggs and mix in.

Step 5

If dough seems a little too wet, add a little more flour (the size of the eggs makes a difference).

Step 6

Divide the dough into about 3 lumps and roll out, one at a time.

Step 7

Roll dough on a floured table or board; then sprinkle all over with granulated sugar

Step 8

Cut with cookie cutter, or knife and bake on greased baking sheet or pans in a hot oven (425F) for about 10 minutes.
