Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a large bolw add oil, milk and salt and whisk to combine.

Step 2

Then add 1 cup of flour and the baking powder.

Step 3

Mix well and keep adding flour and kneating until you have a nice ball of dough.

Step 4

The dryer, the crispier the crust will be.

Step 5

Let it rest for 15 minutes. Put it in the ball of dough in the center of your pie mold and spread it with your hands.

Step 6

Then fill it with you favorite quiche ingredientes and bake for 20 to 30 minutes acording to your quiche directions.

Step 7

I some times add sesame seeds to the flour to give it a cruchy twist.

Great pie crust and very easy. Made a wonderful quiche crust. I hate making pie crust, so glad I found this one. Will be my go-to crust from now on.

Love the ease of this pastry! It is tender and perfect for a quiche. Will be wonderful for meat pies at Christmas. I did have a wee bit of trouble fingering it into the pan as it kept springing back, so gave it a quick roll. Sorry the photos do not show the pastry very well. Will be keeping this recipe handy!
