"This is a family favourite I like to serve on special occasions. I often use a pre-sliced pork butt ham which works well for this recipe. If using a pre-sliced ham, reduce cook time to 2 hours. Make sure you save the bone and broth; you can make a great pea soup with these."

I scaled down the recipe because I used a 2 pound ham. I also used dehydrated onion and mixed it with the mustard, brown sugar and water and then poured it over the ham and baked it. After 1/2 hour I uncovered it, and then spooned the onion over the top and put it back in for another 20 minutes. It tasted really great and I enjoyed it with T's Magical Bean Salad for dinner tonight. Great meal! Thanks for sharing with us Bea! Linda
