Step 1: Place ham in a Dutch oven or heavy casserole dish with a tight fitting lid.
Step 2: Quarter the onion and toss in Dutch oven.
Step 3: Whisk together the remaining ingredients and pour over ham.
Step 4: Cover ham and bake in a 350 degree Fahrenheit oven for 2 1/2 hours.
Step 5: Remove from oven and place ham on a serving platter.
Step 6: Allow to rest about 5 minutes before slicing.
