  • 1 large onion
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place ham in a Dutch oven or heavy casserole dish with a tight fitting lid.

  • Step 2: Quarter the onion and toss in Dutch oven.

  • Step 3: Whisk together the remaining ingredients and pour over ham.

  • Step 4: Cover ham and bake in a 350 degree Fahrenheit oven for 2 1/2 hours.

  • Step 5: Remove from oven and place ham on a serving platter.

  • Step 6: Allow to rest about 5 minutes before slicing.
