Step 1

Just warm up the oil, add the garlic cloves and don’t let them burn.

Step 2

Add mushrooms, sauté for a couple of minutes and season with the Worcestershire sauce and parsley.Cook 5 more minutes.

This is pretty much the way I have been sauteeing mushrooms for years. We love them. I also add some sauteed onions sometimes.

I used sliced mushrooms, not wild but still loved this recipe. Apart from the mushroom variety ~ I made the recipe exactly as per recipe and used the mushrooms with chicken, although I think they would be just wonderful with steak. I did have some left over and will be using them with a brunch. We loved the mushrooms made this way, such an easy and simple way to make mushrooms which I cant wait to try with steak.
