Step by Step Method
Step 1
In large saucepan
Step 2
Fry bacon, remove,crumble
Step 3
Saute onion in fat till soft
Step 4
Add flour and seasonings
Step 5
Drain juice from kraut.
Step 6
With kraut still in bag add tap water.
Step 7
Pour kraut and water into the saucepan and turn heat down over a low flame
Step 8
Add potato,caraway seeds and bacon to kraut.
Step 9
Simmer for 45 minutes.
