"These brownies are so good! We had a friend over for dinner, and he liked them so much he overcame his politeness to ask if he could take the leftovers home. Note to family, this is Mom's recipe except I increased the vanilla."

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9 x 12 pan.

Step 2

Melt butter. Meanwhile, in medium bowl, whisk dry ingredients.

Step 3

Stir brown sugar into melted butter, then stir in eggs and vanilla.

Step 4

Add wet mixture to dry mixture, stir until just combined.

Step 5

Stir in chocolate chips and spread in pan. Bake for 22 minutes or until done.
