Step 1

Do nothing to your cob of corn. Just place in the microwave.

Step 2

Microwave 2 cobs for 6 minutes.

Step 3

Take out with a potholder, as they will be hot to handle.

Step 4

Cut off the bottom with a sharp knife (Part that doesn't have the silk sticking out)

Step 5

Pick up the cob by the silk and husk and shake gently. The cob will fall out minus the hair and husk.

Step 6

Butter, salt and eat! Too easy!

What's not to love about corn on the cob...this method worked wonderfully...they wasn't any silks left on them....I'm making all my cobs this way...so very easy...and being just the two of us this is perfect...I just added butter, salt and pepper...they were nice and hot with the crunch we love...made for "Pick Me" tag game...
