We love dates and these squares are delicious! I made some up ahead of the holiday coming up to try them first before bringing them to my sister's house. I was hooked after the first bite so I will be bringing them to try on everyone else at Thanksgiving!

I finely chopped some walnuts to add to the filling because we love them so, and these turned out to be a very appetizing dessert for my family. We love them and I don't know if they gave my daughter's boyfriend matrimonial ideas, but they were good!
