Step 1

Let mushrooms stand in water at least 2 hours

Step 2

Then simmer for 30 minutes

Add flour to light cream,whisk in to mushroom soup

Add seasonings and well seasoned chicken broth

Bring to a simmer and when perfectly smooth run through a fine stainer ,for me this is when i would use stick blender

Right before serving fold in whipped cream and you could put a dollop on top of the soup bowls for garnishments
