"I've had a long-term fondness for flavored butters .. AND .. I'm often drawn to parts of recipes. These 2 weaknesses collided when I found a waffle recipe that included this simple, but tempting butter at goodfooddotcomdotau. (Time does not include the time to crisp cook the bacon) ENJOY!"

Step 1

Using an electric mixer or hand-held blender, whip the butter & maple syrup until well-combined. Crumble the crisped bacon & stir it into the butter mixture. Chill until ready to use.

Serving Suggestions: Besides the obvious breakfast items like French toast, pancakes & waffles ... This would work very well on toast, bagels, English muffins & even oatmeal. I could go on, but I'm sure you get the idea or have others of your own in mind. :-)
