Step by Step Method
Step 1
Cut off tough ends of asparagus.

Use ends for soup
Step 3
Cut remaining asparagus into 2-inch pieces and wash.
Step 4
Melt butter in a saute pan and let simmer over a low flame.

Add almonds and toast
Step 6
Remove
Step 7
Add asparagus, seasoning salt and garlic powder to the butter.
Step 8
Cover and let simmer for approximately 6 minutes or until just tender.
Step 9
Stir frequently.
Step 10
Add toasted almonds very last thing
